Ebola continues to spread in the Ituri region and CME continues to be in the centre of the epidemic. It is difficult to obtain details of the exact number of people affected/died/recovered and not all those who are ill will attend a treatment centre. There is no proven treatment for the current strain of Ebola that is causing this epidemic but drug and vaccine trials have started.
Please continue to pray for an end to the epidemic and courage for all those who are working to trace, identify and treat suspected cases. Each number represents a person with a family and friends who will scared and grieving.
