Wonderful News - We have reached our goal for the operating appeal
Wonderful news that we have reached our goal for the operating appeal - £25,000!! Thank you all so much for your interest and especially those of you who have been able to support the appeal financially.
Philip Wood the CME Director is travelling at the moment. When he gets back to DRC , I hope that we will have firm news about when the construction can start. We will send you pictures from time to time.
The building will be similar if not the same as one that CME is currently building and has almost completed in Bunia. I have attached a picture of that building.
It will be so wonderful for CME to have their purpose-built building and not to have to pay rent anymore. The people of DRC will benefit directly

THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE
We want to sponsor Chris in his attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Great Britain (Ben Nevis, ScaFell, Snowdon) in 24 hours in June 2007 to raise money to help build an operating theatre for CME in Beni, Democratic Republic of Congo.
